Claude Dashboards and Motion Launch in Beta for Enterprise Users
Anthropic shipped two new features in beta this week that push Claude toward finished visual output rather than text-only responses.
Claude Dashboards (beta for paid plans):
• Build dashboards from plain-language requests
• Claude retrieves data, builds visualizations, and keeps them updated as underlying numbers change
• Connects to Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, and Salesforce
• Each chart shows last refresh time and lets users inspect the underlying query
• Export to Looker, monday.com, and Tableau coming soon
Claude Motion (beta for Team and Enterprise plans):
• Turns reports, charts, or product walkthroughs into short animated explainer videos
• Writes animation as editable code rather than generating video pixel-by-pixel
• Users can edit results directly in the editor or by prompting Claude again
• Exports to MP4 format
Both features address the two things non-technical teams most often need to produce: live dashboards for ongoing monitoring and short videos for one-time explanations.
Why It Matters: These features push Claude from a chat interface toward a finished-output generator for the visual artifacts business teams actually need to produce and share.
